What is Co-Kinetic Sites, and what's on my website?

Co-Kinetic Sites comes with the Clinical Content System, and our team sets it up for you. If your clinic isn't subscribed yet, you can see what the Clinical Content System includes.

Sound familiar?

"We've been offered a Co-Kinetic website. What do we actually get?" "How does our content get onto it?" "Can we add a booking form?" "What can we change ourselves?" This is the overview of Co-Kinetic Sites, from set-up to what you can and can't change 🌐.

What's happening

Co-Kinetic Sites is a clinic website built and run for you, as part of the Clinical Content System. It is not a separate product and there is no self-sign-up: our team sets it up for you, connected to your Clinical Content System account. Your site appears at its own address, .cokinetic.ai, and you can connect your own domain when you're ready.

Everything on the site comes from what you already keep in your account: your practice details, locations and hours, your team, your design choices and your published content. There's nothing to copy, paste or keep in step by hand.

What's on the site

Why it works this way

The site is built around your content, not the other way round. Each condition, treatment and service you publish from your content plan gets its own page, and the homepage and lists update by themselves. Because the site and your content plan share one system, every piece is placed and linked properly, with no pasting and nothing lost on the way 🙂.

Every site is built to our designer's reference pages. An automatic check stops any update that would move a page away from that design. If you haven't supplied something (reviews, photos, a founder quote), that section is left out cleanly rather than showing an empty box.

How content gets onto your site

  1. Work your content plan as usual. Pieces are written under your clinicians' names.
  2. When you publish a piece, it appears on your site on its own page.
  3. Your homepage "Getting started" steps and your About page come from the matching pieces in your content plan.

Reviews

Reviews come only from a connected review source. They can't be typed in. You choose how they show: Off, an overall rating, or individual quotes (quotes are available on UK sites only). An overall rating only shows once you have at least 20 reviews averaging 4.0 or more.

What you can and can't change

You can change everything through your Clinical Content System account: practice details, team, hours, content, pictures and the design choices in the Control Centre. Changes show on your site after you publish.

There's no page editor and no separate login to the site itself, and you can't add forms, scripts or your own code. That's what keeps every page fast, consistent and built to the design.

If you want more detail: what's coming

We're always adding to Co-Kinetic Sites. Coming up are things like special opening hours for bank holidays, pictures on more pages, a call-to-action band, footer links, your support team on the Team page, and timetables, announcements and vacancies through the Growth Hub content widget.

The question behind the question

"Will I lose control of my own website?" No. You control everything that goes on it, through the same account you already use. What you don't have to do is maintain a website: no plugins to update, no layout breaking when someone edits the wrong box, and no copying content across ✅.

The next question is usually...

Still stuck? This usually means...
