What happens after I sign up?
Sound familiar?
"What happens once I've paid?" "How long before I get anything?" "Do we have to do a load of setup first?" "Who needs to be on the call?" "When do we get our content plan?" "How soon can we publish something?" Here is the whole sequence, in order.
What's happening
As soon as your subscription starts, the platform begins a detailed analysis of your website across several channels. It looks at the pages you already have, how they perform, how visible you are in AI search, and what the search demand around your services looks like. That produces a report inside the platform, and that report is what your content plan is built from.
The analysis usually takes a day, sometimes two if your site is large or complicated. You do not have to do anything while it runs.
Then we have your onboarding call. Bring anyone who will be involved day to day, especially whoever handles your admin, because they are usually the person adding information and driving the platform week to week. On that call we walk through getting your clinician profiles populated, and how your plan gets built from them.
After the call, your clinicians fill in their profiles. Once the profiles reach the required standard, your content plan unlocks and you can start creating.
Why it works this way
The plan is built from two things: what your website already does, and who your clinicians actually are. The site analysis gathers the first automatically. The second can only come from your team, which is why profiles are the one piece of real work at the start, and why the call happens before you begin rather than after.
It is also why the plan you get is specific to your clinic rather than a generic list of physio topics. A plan built without profiles would just be keyword research, and keyword research is not what gets a practice named in an AI answer.
What to do now
- Sign up, then leave the analysis to run. Nothing is needed from you for the first day or two.
- Book the onboarding call, and include your admin person if you have one.
- Get the clinician profiles filled in. This is the step that gates everything else, so it is worth doing properly rather than quickly. See "Is there a faster way to fill in clinician profiles?" if your team is short of time.
- When the plan unlocks, work down it in order and create your first piece.
How long until content is live
Realistically, that depends almost entirely on how fast the profiles get done. The analysis is a day or two. The profiles are your team's time. Once the plan unlocks, a piece can be created and reviewed the same day, and if you are on WordPress it publishes straight to your site.
The question behind the question
"Is someone going to be doing this with us every week?" No, and that is deliberate. You get the onboarding call at the start, and support whenever something is not working. The system does the analysis and the writing; the ongoing work on your side is choosing the next piece, giving one short clinician insight, and approving what comes back.
The next question is usually...
- What should I set up first on the Clinic Profile page?
- Why can't I generate content yet?
- What happens once my content plan unlocks?
- What does Co-Kinetic do, and what does it not do?
Still stuck? This usually means...
- The plan has not unlocked. It needs one clinician profile at 60% completeness and a second, different clinician at 50%. See "Why can't I generate content yet?".
- Your clinicians are not filling their profiles in. This is the most common reason a new account stalls. Interviews, recordings and forms are all valid ways in, so use whichever your team will actually do.
