What does starring a clinician do?

What's happening

In the Your Team panel on the Clinic Profile page at https://content.co-kinetic.com/my-clinic/clinic-profile, each clinician can be starred ⭐. Starring a clinician tells the platform to prioritise content for that practitioner: the plan gives extra weight to content connected to them, so pieces they would author and topics tied to their declared expertise rise up the queue.

Use it when you want the plan to build one person's presence first: the practice owner, a clinician whose specialism is the practice's flagship, or a new associate whose diary needs filling.

Why it works this way

The content plan weighs many factors (real search demand, your site's gaps, cluster health, declared priorities, clinician expertise), and the practitioner behind a piece is genuinely one of them, because AI trust is anchored in identifiable people. The star gives you a direct, human way to say "this person first" without touching anything else. It nudges the ranking rather than overriding the evidence: a starred clinician's content is lifted, not guaranteed every slot, because a plan that ignored real demand would cost you visibility 🙂.

Remember the pairing that makes the star powerful: the star lifts a clinician's content, but their profile is what qualifies them to author it at all, and their declared niches are what activate their topics for the clinic. A starred clinician with a thin profile has nothing to lift.

1. Open https://content.co-kinetic.com/my-clinic/clinic-profile and find the Your Team panel.
2. Star the clinician whose content should come first.
3. Make sure that clinician's profile is strong (60%+ makes them an eligible author) and their niches are declared: see "How are profile scores worked out, and how do I raise mine?" and "What are niches and primary niches, and how do they shape my plan?"
4. Watch the plan at https://content.co-kinetic.com/my-clinic/plan: content tied to the starred clinician will carry more weight in the ranking.
