What are content credits, and do they expire?

Credits are your capacity to create content: articles, pages, whatever your plan calls for. You get a fresh allowance every billing period (every 4 weeks on newer plans, monthly on plans taken out earlier) and they build up, so if you have been subscribed a while before you start generating, you will have a stack waiting.

Credits from your allowance never expire while you are subscribed. A quiet spell is not a wasted one.

Publishing also earns credits back: confirm a piece's live URL and a third of its cost returns to you once we've verified it is genuinely live. A clinic that publishes everything it creates gets meaningfully more content than the headline allowance, by design, because the scheme rewards exactly the behaviour that builds your visibility. Earned credits work differently from your allowance: they are spent first, and they expire three months after you earn them, so publish regularly to keep the bonus flowing.

One important note for current customers: credits are not switched on for live accounts yet. You are on unrestricted generation while we finish that side of the system, so please ignore any credit figures you see in the interface for now. Usage is being tracked and will be backdated fairly when credits go live, so nothing you do now counts against you.
