How do I use the Canva poster templates?

Sound familiar?

Your waiting room walls could be working for you — but hiring a designer for clinic posters is money you'd rather not spend, and DIY posters look, well, DIY. Each campaign includes professionally designed Canva templates — posters and a longer customisable booklet — that you brand and print yourself in minutes 🖼️.

What's happening

The poster and booklet templates live in each campaign's resources panel in Content, as Canva template links. Opening one takes you into Canva (free account is fine), where the design arrives ready-made: campaign messaging, imagery and layout done, with spaces for your logo, practice details and — in the booklet — your own advertising sections.

Why it works this way

Print still works because it reaches people in exactly the moments screens don't: waiting for their appointment, at the gym, in the sports shop hiring skis. A poster with a strong message and a QR code turns a physical space into a lead channel — and Canva templates mean the design cost is zero and you can re-edit and reprint whenever details change 🙂.

What to do now

  1. Open the campaign in Content and click the poster (or booklet) template link in the resources panel.
  2. In Canva, use the template to create your own copy, then swap in your logo, practice name and contact details. Keep the campaign messaging — it is written from patient research.
  3. Add a QR code pointing at your campaign lead page or booking page, so the poster captures contacts rather than just being seen ("How do I use QR codes and short links?" covers creating one and downloading it for print).
  4. Print locally or through Canva's print service. Posters: waiting room, treatment rooms, community boards. Booklets: distribute where your target audience already goes — sports shops, gyms, equipment rental, community centres.
  5. For the booklet, fill in its advertising sections with your own services before printing — and reprint variants for different distribution spots if useful.

The question behind the question

"Is print really worth the effort in 2026?" For a local business, yes — precisely because everyone else stopped. Your competitors' marketing is invisible until someone opens a feed; your poster is in the physical place where the injury conversation is already happening. Local + physical + QR code is a quietly effective combination 📍.
