How do I send my leads to a third-party email platform or CRM?
Sound familiar?
Co-Kinetic is collecting leads nicely — but your practice already runs on Mailchimp, a CRM, or practice-management software, and you don't want contacts living in two places that never talk. Webhooks are the bridge: new sign-ups flow out of Co-Kinetic into your other systems automatically 🔀.
What's happening
Settings → Integrations & Tools → Third-Party Integrations holds two connectors:
- Outbound Contact Webhook URL — sends every new sign-up out to your other apps, via automation services like Zapier or Make. There's a Test Webhook button so you can confirm it fires before trusting it.
- Inbound Contact Webhook URL — works the other way: copy it into an outside system to push new contacts into Co-Kinetic from other sources.
For practice-management software, there's a dedicated section on the same page: Nookal connects directly, with Mindbody and Jane App coming soon — "How do I connect my practice management software?" covers what the connection does.
Why it works this way
Every clinic's toolkit is different, so rather than building a one-off connection to every product, Co-Kinetic speaks webhooks — the common language that Zapier and Make translate into thousands of destinations. One outbound pipe covers Mailchimp today and whatever you switch to next year 🙂.
What to do now
- Create a free account on Zapier or Make if you don't have one.
- In your automation tool, create a new workflow that starts from a webhook trigger — it gives you a URL to receive data at, and connects the other end to your destination (Mailchimp list, CRM, spreadsheet).
- In Co-Kinetic, go to Settings → Integrations & Tools, paste that URL into Outbound Contact Webhook URL, and save.
- Press Test Webhook and confirm the test arrives in your automation tool; map the fields (name, email, tags) to your destination.
- Turn the automation on, then do one real end-to-end test: sign up through one of your own lead pages and watch the contact appear in the destination.
The question behind the question
"Should I move my email marketing out of Co-Kinetic, or into it?" The pipe works both directions, so the real question is where you want the thinking to happen. If Co-Kinetic runs your nurture and campaigns, the outbound webhook simply keeps your CRM's records complete. If you're wedded to an outside email tool, use Co-Kinetic for its lead capture and content, and let the webhook feed the machine you already know. Duplicating actual sending in both places is confusing for you and your patients — pick one sender 🎯.
The next question is usually...
- How do I create an email collection form and add it to my website?
- How do I add contacts and create audiences in Co-Kinetic?
- How do I put my email widget into an email?
Still stuck? This usually means...
- The test fires but real sign-ups don't arrive. Check the automation is switched on (not draft) in Zapier/Make — the test button proves the pipe, not the switch.
- Fields arrive jumbled or missing. Re-map the fields in your automation tool using a fresh test payload.
- You use Cliniko or another practice system. Tell us in the chat before building anything — we'll point you at the right route for your system, and Nookal users should use the direct connection instead of webhooks.
