How do I manage my subscription, payment details and receipts?

Sound familiar?

Your card expired, or your accountant wants last quarter's invoices, and you are hunting through emails for a billing link. Everything lives in one place: Settings → Account Settings → Billing & Payments 🧾.

What's happening

The Billing & Payments panel shows your saved cards (with one marked Default), an Add Payment Method button, and a Subscriptions list showing each subscription's status and payment method. What you can self-serve depends on how each subscription is billed:

Why it works this way

Payments run through dedicated, regulated payment providers rather than through Co-Kinetic itself — your card details never sit on our servers, and invoices come from the system that actually took the payment. That is why the billing portal is a separate secure page, and why some longer-standing subscriptions (set up on our other provider) are handled personally rather than self-serve 🙂.

What to do now

To update or add a card:

  1. Go to Settings → Account Settings → Billing & Payments.
  2. Press Add Payment Method and enter the new card, then make it the default with Set as Default. Delete the old one once the new default is in place.
  3. Worth doing proactively: keep a backup card on file so a renewal never fails on an expired card mid-campaign.

To download receipts and invoices:

  1. Find the subscription in the Subscriptions list and press Billing portal — invoices and payment history are all there to view or download.
  2. If your subscription shows "contact us" instead, message us in the chat — we'll send what you need.

To change or cancel a subscription:

  1. Stripe-billed: the Billing portal handles plan changes. Anything else — or anything you'd rather talk through — tell us in the chat.

The question behind the question

"Why can't I see card buttons / a billing portal on my account?" Not a bug — it means your billing runs through our other provider rather than Stripe. Those accounts show a note to contact us for changes, and we handle it personally. Same outcomes, different door 🚪.
